35 Weeks Until Christmas

Happy 35 weeks until Christmas, chums! What a week we are having here at the North Pole.

First, a breaking news alert: The windows at the Wrapping Department have all been covered up. I’m not sure what that’s all about. Elves are still going in and out of the building there – it’s huge – but they have to swipe their badge to get in and out. If you don’t work in the Wrapping Department, you don’t get in.

So I went over there and knocked on the door. An big elf in a security uniform came out, looked at my badge and said I was not qualified to enter. I protested, claiming I had been in the building many times, that Elf Harriet is my friend, that I work as Chief of Staff to Mrs. Claus and that as a member of the North Pole Media I had a right to enter.

He said, “Tough cookies, Cupcake. You’re not getting in!”

So I called Elf Harriet. It went straight to voicemail. I sent her an email. No response.

What in the world can be going on over there that would be top secret? They wrap presents, fer crying out loud!!!!

Second, let’s get to your questions about the sleigh thing.

Actually, let’s not. I’ll get to those next week. Some of them I cannot answer. Some of them will be answered but not by me (Elf Meg at NPFC will answer them soon). And some of them the answers will be given in the weeks ahead. But yeah – the sleigh thing is kind of exciting.

Now, third, this is really great news. North Pole Chats are starting up again soon. I was in the meeting where a schedule was announced and it was decided that we still have time to ask YOU about who you want to chat with.

So expect Elf Winslow to get a note out about that soon.
