Officials at SantaTrackers.net say a new record for sign-ups for tracker elves was set over the weekend.

Santa Trackers

Millions of new elves are expected to track Santa for Santa this holiday season. While exact numbers were not shared Elf Crash Murphy, the International Director of Santa Trackers, said new elves from more than 49 countries signed up.

“We are seeing an absolute explosion of growth in South America, an area we call Sector 4, but an even bigger rate of growth in Africa, which is Sector 3 to us,” Elf Crash said.

Overall, by far the largest concentration of elves resides in Sector 5, also known as Central and North America. It has always been that way.

Elves can either work on a freelance basis, and sign a new contract every Christmas, or they can join to be North Pole elves and embark on a long term career working for Santa.

Thank you, Elf Harold! Thank you, Elf Frank and Elf Crash, for sharing that! Wow, many teachers and the students already signed up! I’m also glad that the Elf Supervisor of Sector 3, Elf Tubby, seems so happy to have more new elves this year! And they are very active in the elf wall. I hope we can enjoy working together for Santa! XD
