5 Weeks Until Christmas

There are five weeks to go before Christmas – and this is by far the biggest week of the year at the North Pole.

Countdown to Christmas

Yesterday the Reindeer Games kicked off and they end on Wednesday. Thursday, of course, is Thanksgiving Day – which means the annual Elf Parade in the morning, the Turkey Bowl in the middle of the day, the big luncheon and then the Christmas Light Walkabout with Santa.

Then – Operation Merry Christmas kicks off.

We’re all here. Santa. Mrs. Claus. The Reindeer. Every imaginable elf (well, except for all our tracker elf friends out there). Even the test pilots of Santa’s sleigh and THEIR reindeer are back.

That’s right, even my reindeer Trixie is gonna be home this Wednesday. I’m so happy to see her. I’m gonna feed her lots of apples, cause that’s her favorite.

In other words, this is a happy week. It’s busy, and there is no shortage of work ahead for the next five weeks.

But it’s happy work.

I have it on good authority that Santa is REALLY pleased with how hard everyone has worked all year. Mrs. Claus herself told me that she cannot remember a Christmas where Santa felt so ahead of things.

The only worry, she said, is just keeping everyone healthy over the next five weeks so that the weekend of Christmas can be enjoyed by all.

Mrs. Claus tells me that is why she is putting a little extra effort this year in sharing tips and tricks for a happy Christmas. She is not only talking about cookies and decorating, but she’s talking about keeping healthy, getting good sleep and looking for opportunities to serve others during these next five weeks of Christmas.

More on that later.

For now, enjoy your week, Friends. Be grateful. There’s a reason Thanksgiving in Santa’s favorite. If you enjoy the spirit of Thanksgiving, you’re going to enjoy Christmas.

Thank you, Elf Trixit! I’m so happy you will see Trixie reindeer, and the test pilots and their reindeer are back at the North Pole! Everyone is excited, and it makes me feel excited too! I hope they enjoy the events and spend a heartwarming time with their families. I’ll pray for their health, too, and I want to help Mrs. Claus serve elves. Happy Thanksgiving! My country doesn’t have this holiday, but I’m thankful a lot for Santa, Mrs. C, the elves at the North Pole, my family and friends, and my mom! XD
