From somewhere in the South Pacific Santa Claus met with field tracker Elf Petey LaCroix this week to scout test flights of Santa’s sleigh.

As reported earlier, Santa wanted to see new equipment in action and to discuss with Elf Petey the work and mission of the small team of professional trackers that are sent out from North Pole Flight Command each year.

Their work is different from the tracker elves over at SantaTrackers.net. These professional trackers are positioned in dark, remote places where their odds of seeing Santa’s sleigh in flight are strong. Using special equipment they attempt to gather data and video of Santa’s sleigh in flight. That information is used in future design developments in the Sleigh Department. They are continually working to improve Santa’s sleigh.

Elf Petey reports that Santa’s visit was mostly uneventful and that Santa looked healthy. Click the player above featuring the North Pole Radio News report of Elf Frank Myrrh’s interview with Elf Petey.

Thank you, Elf Harold! How did the Flight Command know Santa was there? Thank you, Elf Frank, for asking Elf Petey. I’m curious about what Santa talked to him. The test flights are over New Zealand now. I hope Santa is there too! XD
