25 Weeks Until Christmas

25 Weeks Until Christmas 1

Just 25 weeks now remain until Christmas – and now we’re celebrating with Christmas in July at the North Pole.

Countdown to Christmas

Christmas in July is time for a little break for elves. We’ve been hard at work since January and over the next few weeks we will keep working here and there but we will be having all kinds of activities to kick off the 2nd half of the year.

I’m sure the News Department will share with you stuff at it happens.

But for me, one of the really nice events coming up is the Eggnog Pancake Breakfast.

There’s this elf here who is a chef. Legit. I’m not even kidding. This guy could make cookies out of dirt and it would taste good.

Anyways.

Someone had this great idea of having a pancake breakfast. This elf The Chef – I’ll call him that because he doesn’t want his name mentioned – volunteered to feed us all over at Kringle Park if Mrs. Claus would let him make eggnog pancakes.

Mrs. Claus said she’d have to taste them first.

So The Chef came over yesterday and made breakfast for Mrs. Claus and her office staff.

These eggnog pancakes are to die for. Seriously. For reals. He served mine with eggnog whipped cream and strawberries. So, so good.

I’m telling you right now all the elves are going to flip over these. They love everything eggnog and these are **da bomb**.

In fact, eggnog is going to be kind of a theme for all foods associated with Christmas in July this year.

As I understand it, there will be eggnog cotton candy at the fairgrounds. We’ll be having something new called eggnog smoothies for the Christmas-in-July square dance. I’m told they’ve come up with eggnog licorice, eggnog yogurt, eggnog potato chips and, of course, eggnog gum.

Everything is coming up eggnog this Christmas in July.

Santa, of course, is going to miss it.

Too bad for him.

I’m not saving him any.

Thank you, Elf Trixie. Wow, 25 weeks until Christmas, so fast! I know how much they love eggnog. Christmas in July at the North Pole is like an eggnog festival this year. I’ve not eaten eggnog yet, and of course, I don’t know the flavor, but I want to try that pancakes for breakfast! They’re so lucky. Yeah, I wish I could be there; I can try them all, lol. I hope Santa came back to the North Pole to have them. I hope her reindeer Trixie can return to her and Mrs. Claus can relax and have fun a lot with Santa and the elves! XD
