32 Weeks Until Christmas

Christmas

Happy 32 weeks until Christmas, folks. And Happy Mother’s Day to those out there celebrating their Mom’s this week.

Countdown to Christmas

We get that question a lot, by the way: Do Santa and Mrs. Claus have children?

And the answer is yes, they do.

But, they don’t get talked about it a great deal. There is very good reason for that.

Can you imagine being Santa’s kid?

I mean, think about it. If you’re Santa’s child and everyone knows your Dad is Santa, don’t you think you would be treated differently or at least asked all kinds of weird questions?

Santa and Mrs. Claus have kept information about their family very private for these very simple reasons.

But also, their children grew up years and years ago. Santa and Mrs. Claus these days have grandchildren and even great-grandchildren.

Nobody knows who they are or where they live (not all of them live at the North Pole).

This information, naturally, brings up other questions: Do Santa and Mrs. Claus’ grandchildren know who their grandparents are?

Mrs. Claus didn’t want to answer that question. In fact, she flat out told me she didn’t want to talk about that. She explained, “It’s just not a good idea to get into that very deeply, dear.”

Another thing Mrs. Claus doesn’t want to talk about is blushing.

Yes, blushing.

You see, when Elf Frank’s radio news report with Crash came out this week about Santa singing a song and sending it to Mrs. Claus I was with Mrs. Claus when she heard it on the radio.

She was very embarrassed.

Not in a bad way, in a cute way. She blushed. Turned all read and had a silly little smile on her face.

She loves Santa so.

I think it’s cute. I think it’s something neat to see. I think being older, with grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and still being in love….is special.

And that’s all I’m going to say about that.

Have a great week!

Thank you, Elf Trixie! Did you talk to your mom too? I hope Mrs. Claus and all moms had a happy Mother’s Day. I wish I could celebrate her directly someday. I’m always very delighted to hear how much Santa and Mrs. Claus love each other. It makes me happier. So she doesn’t have to be embarrassed. I hope Santa continues to show us how he loves her! *^^*
